Status Update

This blog isn't about me, so I'm not giving lots of detail. I have lots of offline things going on that are preventing me from updating or continuing the site at the moment.

I will have things going as soon as I can. Rest assured I am getting your emails and working on things as time allows, it is just REALLY slow right now.

teababy was removed from the Orange Level list as I have confirmed she made good on her transactions and had personal issues going on. She was also quite nice in her emails to me and I had one of her customers email me as well to confirm that the transaction worked out. Yay for happy endings!

And my apologies for taking so long in the removal. Goes to show we need to all remember that sometimes things come up, but it was never my intention to leave someone on the list far beyond everything resolving. I am truly sorry for that.

Updates will resume this week

DH is home, everything is fine. We're just really busy and I haven't had a lot of time to post.

Coming up are a few more Alerts and the HC WAHM/carts lists.

Fair warning, I can report the worst of the worst Red Alert scammers from DS pretty quickly, but it is a huge undertaking to report those with only a few bad/neutral transactions due to the massiveness of Itrader there. If anyone knows a better way to sort through it or to check it for "new feedback since xx/xx/xx" please, please let me know.

Well, it's about time.

DiaperSwappers has now added a "Wall of Shame".

"This board is very marketplace-driven and we want our members to feel safe when engaging in transactions or trades. Because of this, we have compiled a list of those people that have been banned due to scamming, having multiple usernames, and/or having questionable ethics. This is the official list.

With that said, any other list that is in existence needs to now be deleted. Please do not PM other lists around as we now have the official one. Those who are found passing other lists around will be banned. We do not want members "black-sheeped" or isolated because of speculations or false/unproven accusations.

If you have any names that you feel need to be added, please PM an administrator for review. We will look into each inquiry and investigate. If the user in question is found to be guitly, they will be banned and added to the The Wall of Shame."

I don't want anyone to worry; Diaper Scammers will continue to collate, collect, and report on suspected AND known scammers. Will this result in my being banned? I have no idea; I pm'd Juan for clarification more than 6 hours ago and still have no response.

So, this is the OFFICIAL list, eh? That implies there is an unofficial list as well. Care to share that with Diaper Scammers, DS admin? Just drop me a little note :)

P. S. When making an "official" announcement to a few thousand members, try to remember how to spell "guilty".

Then, there's this line here:

"krismarie Spam Via PM system"

What this said previous to the edit was "spamming BUDDHISM via the PM system".

That's definitely a reason I'll remember. Very unusual.

Hyena Cart Spot's Corner/ FSOT

This is seperate from the Hyena WAHM section. That section is going to take longer to get through and should appear by next week. In other words, these are USERNAMES, NOT STORE NAMES. There may be multiple people working together under a store name and multiple store names under a Congo. A Username is considered to be specific to an individual.

So, how *can* you do this? Can't they sue you?

Anybody CAN sue almost anybody over almost anything. That doesn't mean it's usually advisable, however.

There is a wonderful little federal law known as Section 230 of Title 47 of the United States Code (47 USC § 230).

Summation:
c, 1 "(1) Treatment of publisher or speaker
No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider."

You are the only person I have never been able to mediate with and end on good/pleasant terms with. I take that back, one of 2, only she has better things to do than stalk me. Everyone else that has truly wanted resolution got it. It has been your choice not to have this matter settled. I think you really should seek help for your obsession with me. It's not healthy and quite frankly is concerning me enough that I am discussing it with my attorney. Oh and I have several "friends" on BG, they have screen shots of what your posting, cross posting (which is against the DT TOS, did you know that?) so be aware your posts there are not private. All of this and our old emails are being saved for the lawyer. I hope you understand that what you are doing, slandering my name/character is a real offense with real jail/fines associated with it. Ya know, I think your kids might enjoy more of your attention, that your waisting on me. Just a thought."

How this Works

I simmer in the irony that I'm ripping off Homeland Security with this color coding system - however, I guess it's needed.

With no further ado, I present to you the Scammer Warning Levels!

Red Alert - multiple victims scammed completely out of products on a mass level. AKA: The Big Bads.
Orange Alert - more than one victim scammed including by reception of totally unusable products or incomplete orders. AKA: The Sucktastic
Yellow Alert - pattern of neutral and negative feedbacks but as of yet no nondelivery of products. AKA: The Asshats.

The Watchlist will also be implemented.

To be placed on the watchlist, information must be scanned or received that implies something is stinky in Diaperworld. A link or summation will be given regarding the person or WAHM; I suggest you read it thoroughly and make your own decisions regarding the person. It is not a condemnation and it does not carry the label of scammer. It is only information presented for YOU, the reader and/or potential buyer, to make your own decision.

DiaperScammers itself, and I the poster, am not responsible for accuracy. I am not responsible for what others' post or report. I am ONLY consolidating other public information. Under VERY RARE circumstances where a WAHM or individual is being stalked or harassed with false feedback reports, DiaperScammers will report this as well with links to information.

Do not underestimate how inbred the clothdiapering community is and who-knows-who. Word gets around, and eventually the dots are connected. This blog/site is here to assist in the SPEED of the connecting of those dots.

Regarding anonymous submissions - these are accepted for a variety of reasons including assisting with IP matching, pp address matching, legal name matching, etc. and by those fearing retaliation. If single reports are received, I will keep a private log. If multiple reports regarding the same WAHM/individual are received, the information will be presented on the Watchlist. No person or WAHM can be granted anything above Watchlist status unless someone publically posts what has allegedly occured.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN LABELED A SCAMMER AND WISH TO CONTEST IT:
You may either email me and I will add the information to your section, or you may post a response of your own directly to the section. I do not control who is or is not allowed to post. If the feedback is false or a pattern of harassment, actions will be taken to note this and/or status may be downgraded temporarily or permanently. The option of removal from the site is NOT available; as our aim is information, this may help with buyers who have only seen the harassment at other sites where you could NOT defend yourself. As complete a picture as is reasonably possible will be presented.

LEGAL NOTICE:
Just in case any asshats want to pull the "lawyer" card - if you have legal representation and believe you have a case, I'm sure you can see to it that I am served with a Cease and Desist order, at which point my lawyer can assist in my response and/or my laughing at you. It is not illegal to link or copy information found in the public domain. The public domain encompasses a lot of juicy information and asshattery.

For more information regarding why public information like address, phone numbers, license numbers (not Driver's ID; think pocket license in these circumstances) and feedback can be published, you need look no further then your own local Better Business Bureau.

Know one? Suspect one? We’ll be digging around from several sources for information on them to put it ALL here for you in it’s entirety. Feel free to email caveat_e@yahoo.com to report a Scammer, suspected or known. Please use this email address as folders are being setup to minimize duplications and let us know quickly of updates pertaining to the same scammers.

  • Include Scammer identity(ies) - legal names, aliasas, addresses, phone numbers, paypal email addresses used.
  • Include your experience with them or a link to an experience being related (publicly).


We suspect that this blog may generate a lot of information in the beginning, so please have patience as we pull things together and collect information. Your submissions and experiences are priceless in protecting others from being scammed!
